Labyrinth Open Mic

About the Event

OpenMicMonday is a time and space for you to join the mic and speak your emotions, feelings and thoughts through the art of spoken word, poetry, story telling and music. Since 2017 Labyrinth is organising OpenMic Monday every Monday night. Here you can experience the work of artists from all walks of life, while enjoying fabulous drinks and soul food at Labyrinth. Everybody is welcome, you can perform in any language you like. The host will guide the evening in English. Practicalities: Artist or not, do make a reservation via www.labyrinthamsterdam.nl to be sure of a seat, as full=full and we don’t want to disappoint you at the door. You reserve a seat via our reservation system. For the artists that want to be part of the line up, register yourself for the #openmic at 20:00 hours at Labyrinth with the host of the evening. First come first serve. There are 14 spots available. You would have around 5 minutes to perform during #openmicmonday. Entrance is free but consumption of drinks/food is required to keep these nights without entrance fee. Some seats do not look directly out at the stage, but you can hear the performances. About LABYRINTH: Labyrinth is a home to the art of mixology- you’ll find it in the African-Caribbean Soul food, the music, the cultivation of spoken word and poetry and most certainly in the cocktails. Labyrinth is located close to the Vondelpark at Amstelveenseweg 53 in Amsterdam. Feel Welcome!
