MERET ESTER June Carousel is the indie-folk duo of German-Irish artists Meret Ester and Tricia Collins. Based in Berlin, the two musicians began their collaboration in 2022 after meeting in the heart of the city’s vibrant folk scene. Meret crafts a distinctive sonic landscape through open tunings, unusual harmonies, and imaginative themes, while Tricia brings catchy hooks, fresh ideas, and a unique lyrical sensibility. Together, they create a richly narrative and emotionally resonant sound that blends storytelling with unforgettable melodies.
